Who am I?
Name: Barry Steven Arnson
DOB: July 9, 1979
Height: 6’2″
Weight: ~225 lb.

I was born in Stone Mountain, GA but grew up in Lawrenceville, GA for the majority of my grade school years. I attended Collins High High School in Suwanne, GA and graduated in 1998. I went to CHHS for fours years and was a Charter Member of the Screamin’ Eagle Marching Band.

After that I went on to Georgia Institute of Technology and majored in Applied Psychology. While at Georgia Tech I was a member of the Yellow Jacket Marching Band as well as other various pep bands. I joined the Epsilon Theta chapter of Tau Beta Sigma my sophomore year and that is where I met Hakeber. I believe our first date was a D’Angelo concert at the Fabulous Fox Theatre (I was giving her the full court press…if you know what I mean…wink, wink). We dated for several years after college until I made an honest woman out of her on June 17, 2006.

Currently we live in a house built in 1946 down in East Point, GA with our cat Kozmo and our dog Barley.  I am a home brewer, an occasional blogger, an amateur disc golfer and a Certified Official for the PDGA. I am also one of the webmasters for DiscGolfAtlanta.com.

  2. If you ever do a(nother) post on disc golf, you may point out something I learned the hard way.
A golf disc is not a frisbee. It is tough and solid. If you try to catch one, it is going to hurt.

Hiya neighbor. Finally got a chance to stop by. I can tell you that there are 6 of me according to your August post.

I noticed you had a PBR disc…Curious if you dyed the disc yourself or if you purchased it..
